In Dr. Dasarathan International School Kindergarten classes, prominence is put in equally on students’ logical, physical, social and spiritual development. Children learn through a combination of games, songs and creative projects. They are taught to observe changes in the environment, examine and sort objects. Story-telling and role-playing, drawing plays a vital role in their overall development.
In Classes I to VIII of Dr. Dasarathan International School, the focus is on encouraging analysis, survey and on inculcating confidence in key Language skills – Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Aptitude skill like logical reasoning and mathematical skills are developed. Children are encouraged to speak and perform during morning assembly to gain confidence in their ability to communicate to a wider audience. Our curriculum in these classes is structured to encourage and motivate them to become self-confident and self-disciplined, and thus help them achieve their full potential. Dr. Dasarathan International School offers the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examinations (ICSE) Programme to students in Classes IX and X. The ICSE Classes I – VIII at Dr. Dasarathan International School serves as a preparatory year for the ICSE Programme in Classes IX and X. All-India board examination is taken at the end of Class X.
At Dr DIS the following subjects are offered for external examination at the end of Class X :
